Family Messenger, October 29, 2013

God our Father,
We pray for all who have died,
especially our loved ones and people in our community.
May they move closer to you every day and come to live
in your presence forever.
Amen.

A Message from the Principal

I would like to thank all of the parents for their tremendous efforts on the Pumpkin Sale last Friday.  Everyone did an awesome job in planning this event!   It was great to see all the parents together buying their pumpkins. Proceeds from this will go to the garden.

I am out of the office until Thursday, I will be back on Thursday, to celebrate with the children and see all of the wonderful activities taking place that day.  I am taking a little time off to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends.  If there are any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Theiring. Thanks so muchJ

Friday is the Solemnity of All Saints, or All Saints Day, and we celebrate the lives of all the saints who now live in Christ. The third grade class has been researching the lives of saints and concluded the project with a special presentation for Mass. The students will be dressed as saints, and present facts about the lives of the saints to the congregation. We thank Mrs. Lomasto and the third grade class for their preparation and sharing at mass.

God bless,

Diana Girskis
Principal

SAVE THE DATE!!!  BARNES AND NOBLE BOOK FAIR
The Jog-a-Thon is ahead and Thanksgiving is around the corner!  Now it is time for the Barnes and Noble Book Fair at the Americana!  This year we will be having the fair on Saturday, November 16th with our program beginning at 10 am.  Mrs. Girskis will be reading a holiday story!  The first grade and the children’s choir will offer us musical selections!  The Chan family will be playing lovely violin music! The Americana will be festive and we will all have a wonderful time!  When you come to the Americana, please remember to bring the Incarnation School voucher, with our voucher number 11224094.  When you present the voucher to the cashier at checkout, then the library will receive 15% of your sales!  You can also pay for your purchases with Barnes and Noble scrip, so do not leave home without it!   Too busy that weekend to shop at the Americana?  Barnes and Noble have made it easy for everyone to participate, by allowing us six days of online shopping, November 16-21st!  Just remember to use the voucher number.  So please let Grandparents and family out of state know they can shop for you and help your school library too.  All funds earned at the book fair will be used to buy new books for the library.  Thanking you in advance for your support of the library.  See you there!
