Family Messenger, March 18 2009

God of Mercy,
You forgive us our many sins.
May we forgive one another as you forgive us.
We ask this through Christ the Lord.
Amen.

A Message from the Principal

Scrip Tip from Jennifer Bunt

Target just sent the school a check for $148.98. Thank you to those families who helped contribute.

In your home messenger, there is an updated SPECIAL ORDER form and ON HAND ORDER form. The SPECIAL ORDER has many changes. ON HAND, we no longer will carry Longs Drugs (available on Special Order), but we will carry Rite Aid $25 (4% profit) and CVS $25 (6% profit). For Easter, we will carry ON HAND Honey Baked Ham $10 (12%). After Easter, this will become a Special Order again.

The company that we purchase the scrip from is closed April 6-14. If you would like to place a Special Order before we break for Easter, you must do it by April 2nd. If you need a large amount of On Hand Scrip, please try to let me know prior to April 2nd. Sunday sales will not happen on Sunday, April 12th, but will resume on April 19th.

Try to plan ahead for all your Easter needs and use Scrip. It benefits you and the school. For a limited time, we have Sees Candies for $15.00 (25% profit) a pound. In the store, a pound costs $15.60. You can use the $15.00 scrip for anything in the store and they will give you $15.60 in product. VERY SOON they are increasing our cost to $15.60 (23% profit). Be sure to take advantage of this savings.

Don't forget about your new Easter shoes or outfit. There are many options available. I think the Easter Bunny himself could find something from our list.
