Family Messenger May 17, 2011

Lord God,
The name of your Son has the power to heal and save.
May we remember this power
whenever we call ourselves Christians.
Amen.

The May statements are included in today’s Home Messenger. Please review carefully and contact Mrs. Fenton if you have any questions. Auction event tickets and raffle ticket invoices are now due. This is a mandatory donation even if you did not attend the auction or sold raffle tickets. Please Note: all accounts must be up-to-date to participate in Graduation activities, report cards, and diplomas.

Swim Team Car Wash

Please note the Swim Team Car Wash will be held on Saturday, May 28. Thank you for your support of the team!

Scrip Tip

12 more selling days to purchase scrip to count for the 2010-2011 profit year. Those of you that are close, YOU CAN DO IT!!! Those of you that are not, continue to purchase, it continues to help the school. Those of you that have surpassed the $200, you will split the additional profits with the school 50/50. As you all know, scrip funds were able to purchase the AMAZING Smart Boards in all the classrooms. To further enhance this technology, we'd like to purchase tablets that work in conjunction with the Smart Boards and would ask those of you who go over the $200 to donate their 50% towards this goal. Of course, you can use these funds for fees, but if you plan on leaving it with the school as a donation, the tablets are a great way to further make an impact on your child's education.

Gina Marie Fenton Memorial Scholarship

The applications were distributed to the 8th Grade class on Friday, May 13. The applications are due to Ms. Carrillo by Friday, May 20. The scholarship is open to all 8th Graders attending a Catholic High School in Fall 2011. A flyer is enclosed with more details.
