A Message from the Principal

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week for our beloved, devoted teachers.  The students and families are taking this time to thank them for all of the wonderful things that our teachers do for our students.  The administration is also taking the time to celebrate this week, and provide lunch for the teachers, and small treats and gifts for them. We are blessed to have them here at Incarnation.

Important Dates

·      May 7^th- Mary’s Mass at 11 a.m, Full Dress Uniform

·      May 10^th- First Communion for our second graders

·      May 11^th- HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL OUR FAMILIES!

·      May 15^th- Watermelon Eating Contest from 1-2:30 p.m.

·      May 17^th- Auction Dinner/Dance from 6-10 p.m.

Auction is May 17th and the due date for the payment was April 25th.  Please turn in payments for the event and raffle tickets to the office by Thursday May 8, 2014.  Auction items maybe turned in no later than May 8th, as well.  Hope to see you there!

Scrip News:

 Scrip Coordinator needed for 2014/2015 school year.  Sharon Conroy is willing to do one month of shadowing.  This fundraiser brings in $50,000 a year and will be in jeopardy if we do not find someone willing to take it over.

First Communion

Religious Education students and Inca 2^nd graders will be celebrating the sacrament of First Holy Communion this Saturday and Sunday. Please keep these students in your prayers.

2014-2015 First Day of School

The first day of school for grades K – 8 will be Monday, August 25, 2014.

Library News

The library will be closing this year on Thursday, May 29.  That will also be the last day to take AR tests for the year for the grades 1-7.  The last day to take AR tests for 8^th grade is May 22^nd.

SWIM TEAM NEWS

Reminder:  Tonight, Tues., May 6 at 7pm is the Informational Meeting for the 2014  INCA Swim Team.

If you are interested in Swim Team, please join us in the INCA Auditorium.

Swim Team Car Wash:  Saturday, June 7 8am-2pm

8^th Grade Recycling Program

The Class of 2014 has been recycling since October. This is our last month for this project and out last fundraiser. We are asking you to support us. Please bring clean dry and classified recyclables: plastic and glass bottles, and cans to the 8^th grade classroom on Thursday until the end of the month. Thank you very much for all your support for the Class of 2014 fundraising projects and activities.
