Family Messenger November 17, 2009
Loving God,
You see the good in every person.
Help us to remember that we
are all your children.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
A Message from the Principal
This Friday, report cards will be distributed to students in grades one through eight. Please take this opportunity to sit down with your child and praise his/her first trimester successes and accomplishments. This is also an excellent time to review areas in which your child can improve upon over the next trimester.
This Friday is also our annual Jog-a-Thon. Students will have lunch from 11:15 – 11:45, and the Jog-a-Thon will begin at noon. Thank you to all who solicited sponsors to make this event successful. I would also like to thank Mrs. Anne Marie Guinane, our Jog-a-Thon chairperson, as well as all of the other parents who are volunteering behind-the-scenes and on the day of the event.
Next week we dismiss at noon for parent-teacher conferences. ASP will be available from noon until 6:00 p.m. M&F Kitchenette will not serve lunch next week. Therefore, if your child will be in ASP, please send him/her with a lunch from home.
I hope to see you at the Jog-a-Thon!
Ms. Olivia Carrillo

SCRIP TIP
It's almost Thanksgiving. Don't forget to buy your scrip for all your special needs this year, especially for Black Friday. We have a few changes to the On Hand Scrip. We will now carry Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf ($25-9%). Domino's will no longer be available in $5, but will be available in $10 (5%). Itunes has increased profits to 5% and Outback/Roys/Flemings has increased to 8%. KFC has been reduced to 8%.
Many additional changes have been made to the Special Scrip Order form. Rubys Diner $25-5%, F.Y.E. has been removed, Eddie Bauer $25-10%, Aeropostale $25-7%, Nike $25-12%, Henrys Market $25-3%. Make sure you think ahead when purchasing from the Special Order form since we need time to order it.
Finally, Bath and Body Works has sent me some $10 off coupons when you spend $30.
When you consider the 13% profits, that's a VERY good deal.
Stop by the Scrip table in the mornings, we're here to help with your holiday needs.
