Family Messenger November 23, 2010
Generous and loving God,
Our hearts overflow with gratitude
as we celebrate your unending goodness to us.
May we always remember who has given us everything
we can see or touch or hold, including our lives!
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
A Message from the Principal
Last Friday was our annual Jog-a-Thon fundraiser. Though it was a little cool, we were fortunate to have dry weather perfect for a run! This year we had 29 sponsors totaling $10,500 in business sponsorships alone! Thank you to all for your support for our annual Jog-A-Thon, and congratulations to the 5th grade class who raised the most money ($5,700) and Brynne Richardson (3rd Grade) for getting the highest amount in sponsorships ($1,005)! Proceeds from this fundraiser will support our air conditioning fund; a portion of the profits will also be used toward technology. It is with your continued support that we are able to have a profitable Jog-a-Thon each year. We especially thank our Jog-a-Thon chairperson, Anne Marie Guinane for her commitment to the success of this event. We also express our gratitude to the Armas Family for their donation of cups and water to this event over the years. Remember that students may wear their Jog-a-Thon shirts on P.E. days. pictures from the Jog-a-Thon
Thank you for your generous food donations for the families of St. Columbkille School and Parish. In previous years, St. Columbkille has distributed 100 baskets to families in need, and this year they had about 130 families to assist with donations from Incarnation School. The St. Columbkille community thanks you for your efforts and generosity.
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Incarnation School, we wish you a blessed and happy Thanksgiving holiday.
Sincerely,
Ms. Olivia Carrillo

Parent-Teacher Conferences
The office is no longer scheduling parent-teacher conferences. If you have not requested an appointment, please contact the teacher directly. Please remember that conferences are 15 minutes. In order to accommodate all appointments and remain on schedule, conferences will remain brief.
Smart Boards
We are happy to announce that we will be using scrip funds to purchase Smart Boards and laptops for the science lab, math room, and 7th grade classroom. The order for the boards was finalized last Friday, and we anticipate installation before the end of December. Thank you for your continued support of the scrip program!
Parish Contribution Statements
Due to the departure of the John Castello, office assistant, this past September the parish office will be unable to mail out an updated statement as to your donations thus far in 2010. If you need this information or have any questions, please call the parish office and ask for Vickie at 818-242-2579, x 114. You may call anytime day or night and leave a message and she will return your call ASAP.
Thank you,
Vickie Van Paddenburg, Office Manager
