Family Messenger April 27, 2010

Good and holy God,
By following the example
of your Son Jesus,
May we be bearers of Christ’s message
in the world today.
Amen.

A Message from the Principal
I would like to thank all of you who supported our Auction Luncheon on Saturday. This fundraiser would not have been possible without everyone’s efforts – volunteers, donors, parents, and parishioners. Your support helps benefit our children and our school. I would once again like to thank our chairpersons, Susan and Jim Theiring, for their willingness to take this project on so late in the year and making it a great success!

Congratulations to the winners of our raffle:
Grand Prize $17,000 – Larry Sepulveda (Godfather of Jasmine R)
1st Prize $1,500 – Iliana Pablo (Mother of Golddy & Javier S)
2nd Prize $1,000 – James Hawkins
3rd Prize $500 – Joseph Aniceto
4th Prize $500 – Carmelita Liwanag (Mother of Carra)
5th Prize $500 – Evelina Fabular (Mother of Cristina)

I am happy to announce that next year’s auction dinner has been scheduled for May 14, 2011 at the Hilton Hotel in Glendale.

Thank you again for your support.

Ms. Olivia Carrillo

Scrip Tip
I have a little of this and that for you all. Fantastic news!!!! H & M has recently been added to our inventory. It comes in $25 denominations with a 5% profit. Please note, that See's Candies is now $16.10, but still has the 23% profit. I have some Bath and Body coupons for $10 off when you spend $30. This is a great Mother's Day gift. Send in your orders and I will include the coupon until I run out.
