Family Messenger May 4, 2010

Loving God,
Bless us with the gift of your peace.
When we are confused or hurt or angry,
Help us to know that you
are always with us.
Amen.

A Message from the Principal
The month of May is a special time when we honor Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary showed courage when she put her trust in God and said yes to His plan for her. Each Monday in May, the fourth grade class will lead us in the crowing of Mary at our morning prayer service. As we honor Mary this month, we remember that we are also called to say yes to God.

Please join me in praying for the second graders and our Religious Education students as they prepare to receive their First Holy Communion this weekend.

Have a blessed week and Happy Mother’s Day!

Ms. Olivia Carrillo

Teacher Appreciation Week
This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. When we express our gratitude for our teachers, we take the time to reflect on the positive ways they have impacted our students’ lives and our school community. We can probably all recall a special teacher that made a difference in our lives. For these teachers--the listeners, motivators, caregivers, and mentors--we are thankful! At Incarnation, we have a special week planned for our teachers and staff to show them our gratitude for the work they do for our students and our school. We wish all of our faculty and staff a wonderful week!

General PTO Meeting
Our last General PTO Meeting of this school year is Monday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. We will hold Board elections, so please consider donating your time as part of our school’s PTO Board. The PTO Board meets monthly and needs energetic, driven parents! We hope to see you at the meeting!
